As you embark on your journey with the Nexstem Instinct Headset, connecting your Nexstem account is a crucial step. This guide will walk you through the process of connecting your Nexstem account, ensuring a seamless integration with your Nexstem Instinct Headset.
¶ Connecting to the Nexstem Ecosystem
Before proceeding, ensure that your headset is connected to WiFi using the Companion App as detailed in our previous guide.
¶ Step 1: Download the Instinct Applications
- Visit the official Nexstem website to download the following applications:
- Streams App
- Headset Manager App
¶ Step 2: Install and Launch the Applications
- Install the downloaded applications on your device
- Open either the Streams App or Headset Manager App
- If you don't have an account yet, follow the prompts to create one
¶ Step 3: Connect to Your Headset
- Click on "Connect Headset" located at the top of the interface
- Click "Retry" to refresh the list of available headsets
- Once the list is refreshed, select your headset from the available devices
- The application will establish a connection with your headset
¶ Step 4: Sign In to Your Nexstem Account (Optional)
- Locate the sign-in option in the top corner of the application
- Enter your Nexstem account credentials to authenticate
This step will be ignored if the instinct headset is not authenticated.
Now you can explore and use the Instinct Apps.
¶ Connecting via Nexstem Instinct Headset to a Visual Monitor
- Connect your Nexstem Instinct Headset to a visual monitor using the appropriate Type-C Dock via USB ports in your headset. This is helpful in accessing datasets and also access Instinct OS and system configs.
